The Art: The artworks in this exhibition are created by artists who participated in the Mission Clay Products nationally recognized Art and Industry residency program. As part of the program, artists spend weeks carving and glazing the six to eight feet clay pipe extrusions. The program officially began in 1979 and continues to this day at Mission Clay Products’ Phoenix, Arizona facility. More than 400 artists have participated in the program since it was founded.
