The Public Works Department is working on a Yountville section of the VINE TRAIL to help maintain the lifespan of a section of the path. Crews will be working on the shoulder areas of the pathway in this area to repair a drainage issue affecting the VINE TRAIL during the wet season. Work starts on Monday, September 28, 2020 and should take a week to complete.
The work done on the VINE TRAIL will be near Highway 29 behind the French Laundry Garden and will affect the Webber Street intersection with the VINE TRAIL and heading north to Madison Avenue. While work is being done on the VINE TRAIL areas, access to the path will be closed to the public. There will be a detour directing users of the VINE TRAIL from Webber Street to Yount Street and then onto Monroe to Yountville Community Park.
All work will be done between 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to adhere to the Town’s noise and construction rules.
The Town of Yountville hopes the work will be completed by 6pm Friday, October 2.
