Vine Trail Volunteer Opportunities

NVVTC Partner Ridge Trail Service Day Saturday, November 5th.
Pitch in! 400 miles is a lot of trail to take care of. We need your help to keep the Ridge Trail in tip-top shape!

Napa - Newell Open Space Preserve 9am - 12pm
Napa - Skyline Wilderness Park 9am - 10am
Ten volunteers & RCD staff showed up to the Redwood Rd site. Cleanup started at the Park & Ride lot, and continued through the bus stop area, continuing up the Vine Trail to near Trower.
Refused was sorted & placed in the appropriate bin for pickup. 81 lbs of trash was collected, included an estimated 1500 cigarette butts. I did not get the numbers on recyclables or compostables.
