An opportunity to clean up the route of the future VINE TRAIL
The 37th Annual California Coastal Clean Up Day is scheduled for Saturday September 18 from 9:00 AM to Noon. Volunteers will be cleaning debris and trash that has accumulated on beaches and waterways throughout the state. In 2019, more than 74,000 volunteers picked up more than 900,000 pounds of trash.
The Vine Trail Coalition is looking for volunteers to clean up the area where the future Vine Trail/Bay Trail will be aligned along White Slough in Vallejo. We'll meet on Sacramento St. at the start of the bike trail.
The project is one of many being coordinated by the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District.
The existing trail was built by Caltrans when they widened and realigned SR37 in the early 2000’s. It is being incorporated into the Bay Trail/Vine Trail alignment which will extend from the Vallejo Ferry Terminal to the City of American Canyon.
Be a part of the solution, show your support for the environment and the Vine Trail! To volunteer sign up here.
